To ensure that a proposed structure is correctly positioned on the property, the surveyor can set wooden stakes at the major building corners, or, if desired, at every turn in the foundation. Offset stakes may also be set to help locate corners whose stakes were disturbed during the grading process. One house corner staking is included in the fee for site plans completed by Georgia Land Surveying, but this work may be quoted independently.
